Parrotfish swimwear is antimicrobial, meaning you don't need to wash it every time you wear it.

We recommend you simply rinse the garment with lukewarm water after each use and hang to dry. For best result we recommend hand washing your swimwear. If machine washing we recommend a cold (30ºC), delicate or hand wash cycle. You can find our full care guide here. 

Yes! Parrotfish swimwear is rated for UPF 50+, which gives you excellent protection from the sun, all day long.

We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders, because we know that shipping fees suck! Faster shipping options are also available at extra cost (but remember they also come with a bigger carbon footprint).

No. We do our best to ensure that you are not subjected to any unexpected tax fees. If, however, you are charged an import tax, please send an email to orders@parrotfish.io with the tax receipt and we will reimburse you.

It's a really cool process! Here's the short version: Plastic bottles are collected from landfills and the ocean. They are then cleaned, chopped, melted, and extruded into yarn, which is used to weave the fabric that makes up our swimwear. You can find more details on our sustainability page.

Yes! Our packaging is 100% plastic free. That means you can throw out or even compost every single piece of packaging that arrives with your order without adding to your plastic footprint. You can read more about our packaging here
